Our Kaitake room is for our children aged between two years and 6 months to three years and six months. This classroom has a 1:8 ratio, this includes 3 to 4 full time teachers and up to 23 children. There is never a dull moment, our children are very enthusiastic and love to participate in a variety of learning experiences. Some of these experiences we have include:
- Playdough
- Dinosaur bone excavation
- Co-constructing 3D models, such as cars, planes, and rockets
- Crafts including stitching, fabric painting are just a couple to name
Great thought goes into the aesthetics of our environment to captivate and extend on the children's focus. We are always in communication with our families to ensure the children's best interest is at heart and to maintain a trusting relationship.
