Kia Ora Whaanau,

My name is Sharon Lewis and I am the Centre Manager at Little Minds Early Learning Centre.

I am a qualified and fully certified Early Childhood Teacher with over 19 years experience in teaching and managerial roles in both Centre based and home based childcare.

Although I am originally from England I have lived in Te Awamutu for many years now, and I have two grown up daughters.

My passion is to provide quality early childhood education and care to all children. I believe it takes a big heart to teach little minds and we have carefully chosen Teachers that have really big hearts :)

I have many hats at the centre; I am a Teacher in the Koru room aswell as being the Manager and Administrator of the centre. So you will see me everywhere at Little Minds, but my favourite place to be is with the under twos. :)

Kia Ora, my name is Rosie

And I am very excited to be joining the team at Little Minds as the Assistant Manager and Head Teacher in the fern room.

I look forward to getting to know the tamariki, whaanau and teaching team..

I have 12 years experience working in early childhood education and am qualified with a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education).

I believe that building trusting relationships with tamariki and whaanau is the best way to create a foundation for learning.

I enjoy providing fun, child led experiences for tamariki to learn about and explore the world around them.

I live in Te Awamutu with my fiance and our three children. My youngest Harlow will be joining me at Little Minds.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, adventuring to new places and being outdoors, especially at the beach! I look forward to getting to know everyone at Little Minds and becoming part of the team.

Kia Ora Koutou

I am super excited to be joining the Little Minds Whaanau.

I bring with me 23 years of experience in early childhood centres and home based care, most recently I have been working as a programme manager and visiting teacher for Au Pair Link.

I live in Cambridge, am married with two grown up sons and have recently become a Nana to a beautiful grandson who is 4 months old.

I am passionate in providing all Tamariki with respectful care and supporting them to learn in their own ways and at their own pace.

Some of you may have seen me relieving over the last 6 months and I am looking forward to settling in to some permanent days.

And I am excited to be joining the team at Little Minds early January.

I just thought I would share a little bit about me!

I come from a family of teachers starting with my Mum's parents.

I myself was drawn into teaching not long after I had my daughter Jemma. So I have been teaching in the early childhood industry for approximately twelve years.

I love my job, and I am passionate and dedicated to raising our future citizens. I hold a Bachelor of Teaching.

I live in Te Awamutu with my partner Matthew, and my thirteen year old daughter Jemma. We have a giant dog called Stuart, and a cat named William. We love to spend time at the beach, and chasing Jemma around the BMX track. I love my little family and I look forward to sharing more of myself with you all in the New Year.
